What is the difference between a standard tablecloth and a stretch table cover?
While a standard tablecloth drapes over the sides, a stretch table cover is made from elasticated 260gsm polyester that pulls tight over the table. This creates a sleek, wrinkle-free, modern “contoured” look that hooks securely under the table feet, ensuring your branding stays perfectly centered.
Can I wash my printed stretch table cover?
Yes! Our covers are printed using dye-sublimation technology, which bonds the ink directly into the fabric. You can machine wash the cover at 30°C without the design fading or cracking. We recommend air drying to maintain the elasticity of the material.
Do I need to iron the cover before an event?
No ironing is required. Because the material is under tension when fitted to the table, any fold lines or minor creases from transport will naturally pull flat once the cover is installed. For the best results, we recommend rolling your cover rather than folding it when stored.
What is the difference between “Open Back” and “Closed Back” options?
Open Back: The back of the table is cut away, allowing a staff member to sit comfortably behind the table with legroom, or to easily access storage boxes hidden underneath.
Closed Back: The fabric covers all four sides of the table, providing 360-degree branding. This is ideal for central floor displays where the public can walk all the way around the table.
Are your stretch table covers fire rated?
Yes. All our fabric displays, including our stretch covers, are M1/B1 fire-rated. This is a safety requirement for the majority of UK exhibition venues and trade shows. We can provide certification upon request.
Will this fit any 6ft folding table?
Our covers are designed for standard 6ft (182cm) trestle tables. If you have a custom-sized table, please contact our team—we can often provide bespoke sizes to ensure you get that perfect “drum-tight” finish.
