Our feather flags are fitted with black sleeves as standard. However, white sleeves are available at no extra cost. If you require a white sleeve, please let us know when placing your order.

Washing & Maintenance
Feather flags can be washed in a regular washing machine using everyday detergents on a 40° wash. Ensure the flag is completely dry before storing it to prevent any damage.
Avoiding Damage
To keep your feather flag looking its best:
- Avoid snagging it on its pole or surrounding objects.
- Keep poles at a safe distance from each other.
- In strong winds or heavy rain, dismantle your feather flag to prevent damage.

How long do feather flags last outdoors?
On average, a feather flag has a lifespan of 6 to 12 months when used outdoors. This depends on the local weather conditions. To maximize the life of your flag, we recommend taking it down during extreme weather (winds over 18mph) and washing the fabric regularly to prevent pollution build-up.
What is the difference between single-sided and double-sided printing?
Single-sided flags are printed on one side with about 90% “show-through,” meaning the design is visible in reverse on the back. Double-sided flags consist of two separate pieces of fabric with a silver “block-out” layer in between, ensuring your message is read correctly from both directions.
Can I machine wash my feather flag?
Yes! Our feather flags are made from 117gsm knitted polyester and are fully machine washable. We recommend a cool wash at 30°C with standard detergent. Always ensure the flag is completely dry before folding it away to prevent any mold or mildew from forming.
Which flag base is best for my needs?
The best base depends on your surface. We include a Metal Ground Spike for free, which is perfect for grass or soil. For hard surfaces like concrete, tarmac, or indoor use, we recommend our Water Parasol Base (which can be filled for weight) or the Metal Flat Base for a low-profile look.
Do feather flags come with a warranty or guarantee?
We offer a guarantee on the quality of the print and the hardware (the poles and base) upon arrival. While the fabric is a “consumable” item that will naturally wear over time due to UV exposure and wind, our high-quality dye-sublimation printing ensures your colors stay vibrant for as long as possible.
