Why Choose Our Building Wraps for Your Project?
• High-Definition UV Printing: We use industry-leading Vutek EFI Q3R presses to ensure your graphics are sharp, vibrant, and fade-resistant.
• Wind-Permeable Air-Mesh Fabric: Our 110gsm or 230gsm mesh polyester allows air to flow through, reducing “sail effect” and protecting your scaffolding structure.
• Safety First: B1 Fire Rated: Safety is non-negotiable on-site. Our materials are fully B1 fire-rated and compliant with UK health and safety regulations.
• Eco-Friendly & Recyclable: Unlike traditional PVC, our air-mesh polyester wraps are 100% recyclable, helping you meet your project’s sustainability goals.
Building Wrap Applications
• Construction Site Branding: Hide unsightly worksites while promoting the finished development.
• Scaffold Covers: Protect workers and pedestrians from dust and debris with breathable mesh.
• Event & Stadium Graphics: Huge-scale branding for festivals, sports arenas, and public events.

Building Wraps: Frequently Asked Questions
What exactly is a building wrap?
A building wrap is a large-scale digitally printed banner, typically made from wind-permeable mesh, used to cover scaffolding or building facades during construction or renovation. They serve two main purposes: concealing unsightly worksites and providing a massive platform for high-impact outdoor advertising.
Do I need planning permission for a building wrap in the UK?
Yes, in most cases. If your wrap contains advertising (logos, brand names, or promotional messages), it usually falls under “Advertisement Consent.” Even “Trompe L’oeil” wraps (which mimic the building’s facade) may require local council approval, especially in conservation areas or on listed buildings. Always check with your local planning authority first.
Are building wraps safe in high winds?
Our wraps are specifically engineered for the UK climate. We use mesh polyester (110gsm or 230gsm) which features thousands of microscopic holes. This allows air to pass through the banner, significantly reducing the “sail effect” and the wind load on the scaffolding structure. For very exposed sites, we recommend our “High-Flow” mesh
What is the “B1 Fire Rating” and why does it matter?
B1 is a European fire safety standard (DIN 4102-1) that certifies a material as “hardly flammable” and self-extinguishing. On UK construction sites, fire safety is a legal requirement. Using a non-rated wrap is a major health and safety risk. All our building wraps are B1 Fire Rated to ensure full compliance with site regulations.
How are these giant banners installed?
Building wraps are usually fixed to a “picture frame” scaffold structure. This involves an additional layer of scaffolding tubes placed on the outside of the main structure to create a flat surface. The wrap is then tensioned using heavy-duty bungee cords or cable ties through reinforced nickel eyelets to ensure a drum-tight, professional finish.
Can you print a wrap that looks like the finished building?
Yes. This is called a Trompe L’oeil (trick of the eye) wrap. By using high-resolution architectural renders, we can print a 1:1 scale image of what the building will look like once finished. This is popular for high-end developments and heritage renovations to maintain the aesthetic of the street.
How long will the print last outdoors?
We use UV-stable solvent or latex inks that are designed to withstand the elements. You can expect your building wrap to remain vibrant and fade-resistant for 2 to 3 years, which typically covers the duration of most medium-to-long-term construction projects.
Is the material eco-friendly?
We offer PVC-free mesh options made from 100% recyclable polyester. This is an excellent choice for developers looking to meet strict sustainability targets or “Green Building” certifications without sacrificing print quality or durability
