Types of banner printing at Essex Banners

PVC Banners

PVC or Vinyl banners are the most commonly seen banner. PVC is a tough and waterproof banner material and is ideal for producing banners to be hung outdoors on fences or outdoor businesses. You can choose a variety of thicknesses and input custom sizes to see an instant quote. Each banner can be supplied with hems and eyelets for each hanging using rope, cable ties, or bungee cords.

Mesh Banners

This is another type of PVC material, with the key difference of being perforated. The tiny holes mean air is allowed to pass through with makes mesh banners ideal for windy conditions. You'll often see mesh banners attached to scaffolding or the side of buildings where they're more exposed to windy conditions.

Eco friendly banners

We now also offer pvc free banner printing. Our pvc free material is fully recyclable and will reduce any marketing campaigns impact on the environment. Eco friendly banners are the responsible choice for any businesses wanting to demonstrate their sustainability commitments.

Airmesh banners

Airmesh banners are specifically used where the banners will be exposed to extreme weather.  The material is made up of larger holes than standard mesh banners. These holes dramatically reduce wind resistance and ensure the banner doesn't flap or become damaged even in strong winds. They're ideal for boundary barrier covers, building sites or large outdoor events and are often used as safety signage or to direct crowds.

How quicky can you print a banner?

Due to our in house banner printing facilities we can produce banners in custom sizes using your design very fast, often delivering within 1 working day. The speed at which we can print does depend on your requirements and artwork preparation. If you have a print ready design ready to go we can use that straight away, if you need artwork assistance (which we're happy to provide) this can take longer as you'll want to approve it and perhaps provide feedback.

How do I install a printed banner?

When your order custom banners with us you can choose from a variety of finishing options. This includes your banner supplied with eyelets so you can hang your banner to fencing or posts straight away.

What customisation options do you offer?

We print banners on a variety of materials (in different thicknesses), in custom sizes and offer complete design assistance. You can choose to add hems, eyelets or pole pockets. Simply select your banner type, input your print requirements to view a quote. Then upload your artwork when you order.

Can the banner you print be reused?

Of course. Although they do require careful handling and storage. Most banner materials can be easily cleaned and can be stored rolled up (avoid folding). Providing you look after them by just being conscious of how you handle and store them, there's no reason why your banners can't be reused.
